This show presents new works in progress by our MA Photography students at a key moment in their development, as they move from experimental research towards their final projects. The show brings together a range of contemporary photographic practices, from innovative darkroom processes to digital works, artists' books and installations.
In addition to the main exhibition space, students are showing moving image works in our immersive video space, reflecting photography's expanding relationship with time-based media.
The exhibition offers insight into each artist's distinct approach while highlighting their shared commitment to pushing the boundaries of photographic practice. Visitors will encounter work that demonstrates both technical accomplishment and thoughtful engagement with photography's role in contemporary art.
This showcase captures an important moment of transition, as these emerging practitioners refine their individual voices and research interests.
